PSE certification in Japan

PSE certification is a compulsory safety certification in Japan, which is used to prove that electrical and electronic products have passed the safety standard test of Denan law or international IEC standards. The dentorl law of Japan stipulates that 498 products must pass the safety certification when entering the Japanese market. Among them, 165 class a products should obtain diamond PSE mark, and 333 class B products should obtain round PSE mark.

With more and more countries joining the WTO, in order to keep up with the international standards, many countries have formulated laws and regulations to restrict the technical indicators of various commodities, such as safety, energy conservation, environmental protection, etc., which can not only ensure the level of their own industry and market, but also form certain technical barriers.

Japan is a country with complicated safety regulations. If foreign products want to enter the Japanese market, they will have to face a higher threshold.
